1. What they are
Cookies are small files that a site stores in your browser. Local storage serves a similar purpose without being sent with every request. Here we describe only the technologies that this site uses.
2. Necessary
- Cookie preference (teraby-consent)
- First-party local storage that remembers your choice regarding analytics and advertising. It remains until you change it or clear your browser data. Without it, we would have to ask you on every visit.
- Training form (AidaForm)
- On the training page, a form from the provider AidaForm is loaded within an embedded frame. That provider may use its own cookies that are necessary for the form to work, subject to its privacy policy.
The forms, the Evaluación TERABY (TERABY self-assessment) and the Calculadora ROI (ROI calculator) work even if you reject everything else.
3. Analytics (only with your consent)
Google Analytics 4, from Google, lets us know which pages are visited and where visits come from, in aggregate. It is not loaded until you accept the "Analytics" category.
- _ga
- Distinguishes one visitor from another. Duration documented by Google: 2 years.
- _ga_<identifier>
- Maintains the Analytics session state for this property. Duration similar to _ga.
4. Advertising (only with your consent)
Google Ads, from Google, lets us measure whether an ad led to a visit or an inquiry. It is not loaded until you accept the "Advertising" category. We do not use remarketing lists or enhanced conversions.
- _gcl_*
- First-party cookies that help measure ad conversions. Duration documented by Google: 90 days.
- IDE (doubleclick.net)
- Google cookie used to show and measure ads on non-Google sites. Duration documented by Google: 24 months outside the European Economic Area, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
Official Google documentation: types of cookies used by Google, how Google uses information from sites that use its services and Google Privacy Policy.
5. Other external services
The site's typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts and Fontshare. When this happens, your browser sends the request to those providers, which receive your IP address. According to the Google Fonts documentation, this service does not set cookies. The site's videos are served from our own hosting.
6. How to accept, reject or change your choice
- On your first visit, a notice appears with three options: "Accept", "Reject non-essential" and "Settings", where you can turn on analytics and advertising separately. No non-essential category is active by default, and continuing to browse does not constitute acceptance.
- You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with the button, also available in the footer of every page.
- If you withdraw a category, we stop sending data to that tool and delete the first-party Google cookies that this site is able to remove. We cannot delete data that Google has already received; you can manage it from your Google account.
- You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
7. Changes
If we add new technologies (for example, additional advertising tools), we will update this page before turning them on and will ask for your choice again when appropriate.
