1. Welcome to TERABY. Who are we?
TERABY is an applied artificial intelligence agency providing assessment, training, implementation and ongoing support for companies in Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras. TERABY is a trade name of Diseño Audiovisual, a Guatemalan company with NIT (Guatemalan tax ID) 2500741-6 and offices at Edificio Insigne, oficina 1013, Zona 15, Vista Hermosa II, Guatemala. Diseño Audiovisual is the controller of the personal data collected through teraby.com.
For any questions about this policy or about your data, write to us at info@teraby.com or contact us by phone and WhatsApp at +502 4846 2841.
2. Scope
This policy applies to the teraby.com website, its forms and tools, and the contact and billing data you provide to us when you engage a service.
It does not apply to data that TERABY processes on behalf of its client companies when it implements automations, integrations or AI agents. In that case, the client company is the controller of its data and TERABY acts on its behalf: the scope, confidentiality, retention and security measures are agreed in the proposal or contract for each project, including non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) when the company requires them.
3. Children's privacy
The site, its forms and our services are intended for businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from minors. If you believe a minor has sent us data, write to us and we will delete it.
4. Types of information we collect
Contact information
Name, company, job title, email and phone or WhatsApp number, when you enter them in a form or contact us directly.
Information about your company's needs
What you tell us about your company and its processes: the area you want to improve and the description of the problem in the assessment form, the track you are interested in on the training form and, if you submit it, your answers to the full assessment questionnaire (sales channels, tools in use, how information and security are handled, use of AI, among others).
Device information
Our hosting provider generates technical server logs (IP address, browser, pages requested and date). If you accept measurement in the cookie notice, Google Analytics 4 also collects site usage data, such as pages viewed, device type and approximate location.
Information related to contracted services
If you engage a service, the data needed to invoice and collect payment (legal business name, NIT, tax address and payments contact) and the project communications. Card payments are processed by the relevant institution; TERABY does not store card numbers.
The site has no user accounts or private area, so we do not collect passwords.
5. How we collect your information
- Directly from you, when you submit the assessment form or the training form, the full assessment questionnaire, or when you write to us by email, WhatsApp or phone.
- From tools that run in your browser. The Evaluación TERABY (TERABY self-assessment) and the Calculadora ROI (ROI calculator), both available in Spanish, do not send your answers to our servers. We only receive them if you choose to share them, for example with the "Hablar con un asesor" ("Talk to an advisor") button, which opens WhatsApp with your result so that you can send it.
- Automatically: the hosting provider's technical logs and, only with your consent, measurement and advertising cookies.
- While providing a service, in interviews, working sessions and documents that your company shares with us.
6. Use of your information
- To answer your inquiry and review your case.
- To prepare a proposal or an assessment when you request one.
- To provide the contracted services, invoice them and collect payment.
- To keep the site running and protect it against abuse.
- With your consent, to measure use of the site and the performance of our ads.
- To comply with legal, accounting and tax obligations.
7. We do not sell your personal information
We do not sell your data or transfer it to third parties for their own commercial purposes. We only share it with the providers that help us operate, which process it on our behalf:
- Vercel
- Site hosting and the server functions that receive the forms.
- Activepieces
- Receipt of assessment form submissions and internal automation of their recording.
- Google (Sheets and Apps Script)
- Internal record of inquiries and of the full assessment questionnaires in spreadsheets.
- Customer relationship management system (CRM)
- Recording and follow-up of inquiries and proposals.
- AidaForm
- Form on the training page.
- WhatsApp (Meta)
- Only when you choose to write to us or send us information via WhatsApp.
- Google Fonts and Fontshare
- Site typefaces; when they load, your browser sends the request (including your IP address) to those providers.
- Google (Analytics 4 and Ads)
- Only if you accept measurement or advertising. How Google uses information: policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
We may disclose data if a competent authority requires it under applicable law.
Several of these providers operate servers outside Guatemala, El Salvador and Honduras, mainly in the United States. When you submit a form, your data may be processed in those countries under each provider's terms of service and privacy terms.
8. Cookies, web server logs and other technologies
The technical cookies needed for the site to work and to remember your cookie choice are always used. Measurement cookies (Google Analytics 4) and advertising cookies (Google Ads) are only loaded if you accept them. We never send names, email addresses, phone numbers or form content to those tools. Details are in the Cookie Policy.
9. Social media integration
The site links to our Facebook and Instagram pages and to WhatsApp, but it does not embed buttons, pixels or content from those networks that collect data while you browse. If you follow one of those links, you move to the corresponding social network and its own privacy policy applies.
10. Data retention
We keep the data from an inquiry while we handle it and, if there is interest in working together, for as long as the commercial or pre-contractual relationship lasts. Afterwards we delete it, or keep it only if it is needed to evidence the relationship or to comply with legal, accounting, tax or contractual obligations. The hosting provider's technical logs are kept according to that provider's retention periods.
11. Data integrity
- The site is served encrypted over HTTPS.
- Forms are sent to server functions that forward them to our internal tools using private keys; those keys are not in the public code or in your browser.
- Submissions include basic controls against automated spam.
- Access to inquiries is limited to the TERABY staff who handle them.
We strive to keep the data we hold accurate and up to date; if it changes, let us know so we can correct it. No transmission over the internet is completely secure: we apply reasonable measures and review them, but we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Your choices
Opting out of cookies and similar technologies
You can accept or reject measurement and advertising, and change your decision at any time, from "Cookie settings" in the footer of every page. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser.
Opting out of marketing communications
Submitting a form does not subscribe you to periodic commercial communications: we only write to you regarding your inquiry or your project. If you ever receive a commercial message from us and do not want it, reply "baja" (unsubscribe) or write to us at info@teraby.com and we will stop sending them.
Access, deletion and correction
You may ask us at any time what data of yours we hold, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. To delete data, follow the steps in Data Deletion Request.
13. Third-party links and features
The site contains links to third-party pages and tools (provider documentation, tools mentioned on the blog, social networks, AidaForm). We do not control their privacy practices; their own policies apply when you use them.
14. Your rights over your data
We apply the following rights regardless of whether or not there is a general data protection law in your country. To exercise them, write to us at info@teraby.com stating your name, company and what you are requesting. We may ask you to confirm your identity before handling the request.
Right of access
To know whether we process data about you and to receive a copy of it.
Right to rectification
To correct inaccurate data or complete incomplete data.
Right to erasure
To ask us to delete your data, except data we must keep due to legal, accounting, tax or contractual obligations.
Right to restrict processing
To ask us to temporarily stop using your data, for example while we review a correction you requested.
Right to object to processing
To object to our use of your data for a specific purpose, such as site measurement or commercial communications.
Right to data portability
To receive the data you gave us in a commonly used format (for example, a spreadsheet or a text file).
15. How we respond to Do Not Track signals
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. The site does not respond to that signal specifically, but it does not need to: measurement and advertising tools are not loaded until you accept them in the cookie notice.
16. Terms and Conditions
Use of the site and engagement of our services are also governed by the Terms and Conditions and the Legal Notice.
17. Changes to this policy
We will post any changes here and update the date at the top of this page. If we add new measurement, advertising or contact tools, we will reflect them here before turning them on.
